Dr. Rodney Dunetz, DAOM is passionate about helping his patients achieve their highest level of health. He holds a prestigious Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is among an elite group of practitioners on the East Coast of the United States to hold such a high-level degree.

On November 14th, 2016, Dr. Rodney was honored with an appointment by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Florida Department of Health – Board of Acupuncture. This is the governmental regulatory agency for acupuncture in Florida.

He is the founder and director of the Dunetz Wellness Center, a private practice clinic located in Boca Raton, Florida since 2008. Dr. Dunetz specializes in functional medicine, a personalized approach to wellness that focuses on getting to the root cause of his patients’ health issues. Conventional Western medicine typically only manages symptoms rather than treating what is causing the symptoms at a deeper level in the body. By truly listening to his patients and using the best diagnostic tools available, Dr. Dunetz creates a Personalized Wellness Program that helps his patients achieve dramatic improvements in their health without the use of prescription medications.

Dr. Dunetz is among the most respected practitioners in his field and is dedicated to giving back to both his profession and community.

He served as a director on the board of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA) from 2008 – 2016, spending part of that time as the FSOMA treasurer. He is currently a Palm Beach County Medical Reserve Corps Volunteer.

In 2014, Dr. Dunetz became the first acupuncturist to be named a “Hero in Medicine” by the Palm Beach County Medical Society in recognition of his work with Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton where, for seven years, he provided free group acupuncture treatments for the staff and volunteers.

On November 14, 2016, Governor Rick Scott appointed Dr. Dunetz to the Florida State Board of Acupuncture, where he served as its vice chair from 2018 thru 2021.

With his friendly style, Dr. Dunetz makes every patient feel special as he guides them towards their best health and life. Dr. Dunetz is NOT an MD.
